Can we love the unlovable?

Today I saw a post on Face Book with this picture and message about love.

Beautiful, do you think? Quite simple, actually, if you come already from a state where your mind is clear, your spirit is elevated, and your heart is full of compassion.

One person commented on that post, asking, "What about the unlovable?"

Good point!

To love the lovable is easy, requires no efforts!  And I remembered that there was  a time in my life when I could not even conceive the idea of loving the unlovable. Of course, I could not understand the energy behind that.

Taking on a holistic approach after some quantum experiences, some courses on spiritual growth and energy healing, I started to understand better the beautiful message by Madeleine L'Engle in her classic book A Wrinkle in Time. Only by loving "IT" the freedom and peace could be restored. It's necessary to learn how to love the unlovable!

Many of us confuse "loving" with "wanting" or "being with" - that's why it seems so impossible to love the unlovable. You can send love to the most cruel and horrendous creature, and that does not mean you want to be part of it, or agree with it, or be with it. Love just removes the bad aspect that might be there. So, that horrendous creature or thing loses the so-called bad aspect when receives love.

It may take some time. I know... it ought to be a heck lot of love to send to certain creatures in order to start seeing some transformation for better! But it's worth the effort! Tried and true!

I  dare you to try, too, the seemingly tough task of loving the unlovable. Next time you think of or see something unlovable to you, pour on it a brilliant shower of love (like sparkles, or tiny little stars, or pixie dust, or a blessing, or a pray if you prefer - you create your own form of love in your imagination). And "see" or "feel in your heart" that love covering that unlovable person, or situation, etc.

Let me know the wonderful outcomes you will experience in your life from that true love!

P.S. To do this you must be aware of your thoughts and feelings. Be in the moment.

Energy, Synergy, Harmony

Sometimes I tend to believe that truly passionate people have this tendency to be out of whack. I guess passion does that. Although I love to be passionate (and out of whack now and then), I must admit that it's not one the most harmonious feelings on Earth! Yes, passion is made of excitement, motivation, and energy! Lot's of energy. The thing is that such energy can go a little out of balance sometimes... and THAT is when we can get in trouble! Because even the good things must be balanced.

In search for more balanced personal energy, which also improves health, wealth, relationships and everything around us - I came across the traditional and ancient way of body-mind-spirit healing method: Qi Gong (or Chi Gong). I started studying it a few years ago and I've learned and practiced enough to heal myself and others in certain situations, but I must admit that that particular style I learned bored me, and so I have lost a bit of interest in continuing practicing it.

However, and even though I have been learning and practicing other energy healing methods, the principle of Qi Gong (the flow of energy) remains as a guidance for me, being one of the greatest ways I have experienced to balancing my being.

Today I received a Universe Cue and something made me search for a new Qi Gong approach. I found Bill Farr on You Tube, and I liked him at first sight! I have just watched this video below, and glanced at his website, but it seems to me that he has a very clear, to the point, and dynamic style. It's pleasant, it's informative, for what I know about Qi Gong it seems very effective the way he performs it, and .... I could never get bored looking at his six-pack or listening to his captivating voice! LOL (There I go... getting out of whack again!)

If, like me, you are so passionate that you can get in trouble now and then (like a teenager, for example!), you might benefit from Qi Gong, too. Well done, i.e. done with intention it reduces stress, negative mind behavior, illnesses, pains, and it restores balance and well-being.

The motto is: Be passionate, but be balanced, too! Let that energy flow! :)

Perceptions

What are you perceiving right now?

“Your opinion is your opinion, your perception is your perception – do not confuse them with “facts” or “truth”. Wars have been fought and millions have been killed because of the inability of men to understand the idea that everybody has a different viewpoint.”
– John Moore

Midsummer Afternoon Nightmare

Midsummer Afternoon Nightmare

I really thought we were in midsummer! Am I missing something here? Perhaps my Google calendar has freaked out and we are in October, not summer anymore!

Well, as I write this it's August 3, 2014, but some days ago (when it was still JULY!) I went to a few stores looking for a small watering can - one of those with a long spout, just for my little house plants.

Much to my chagrin I did not found my watering can in the first four stores I went to. Instead, there was plenty of Halloween decor!  And - gasp! - Christmas decor, too!!!

Where are we going in such a hurry? It's still summer! Why in the skies do we have to see Halloween stuff in July? The retailers are three months earlier, and three months means a whole season!!  That leads us to not fully enjoy the present season with all what is brings, because we are driven into planning and expectations about what is coming next!

In fact, I have noticed for the last few years an increasing mania for preparing for the next season. Always for the NEXT - never fully living the current one. Can you see the madness in that?

During the long and freezing winter people keep wishing for spring. In February stores start carrying spring items while I am still trying to enjoy my hot cocoa by the fireplace! When spring finally comes, people hurry up for summer sales, and when finally summer is here I cannot easily find a simple watering can, because the stores are renewing their stock already and putting Halloween and Christmas items on their shelves - side by side, even!  Not mentioning the lack of sense of many stores and restaurants that set their air-conditioners to such an "F" cold temperature that I feel like I am in winter again, but this time wearing summer clothes!  It's all messed up!

The point is: why are people negating themselves the pleasure of fully enjoying each season in its due time?

Why such a hurry?  To get where?

No wonder people keep saying that "time is passing so darn fast!" Why, of course!  They are anticipating everything!  Can't we just live summer in summer, and fall in fall? And so on and so forth? There will be plenty of time and shelf space later, and of course, consumers, too (never a lack of them in this country!), to buy all possible junk in the stores, in any season!  I don't understand the haste! One could tell me that it's just how the commerce functions. But it doesn't convince me! I think it's sick!

Halloween loses its magical sense when ghosts and spiders and lovely witches prematurely sit down on the shelves that should be still displaying flowers, garden fairies, and watering  cans!

What? Am I exasperated for nothing? No!  I am PASSIONATE, remember?  We are here talking about CULTURE!  Halloween is related to autumn, to transformation, to the end of a cycle. So, it cannot be anticipated and brought to the maturity of life that is summer!

We are all missing the boat as we live our days in tomorrow, letting today escape. That ought to be at least one of the reasons why many people are unhappy, sensing that they are missing something (and they are indeed!) while time is passing too fast. Such people have not found out yet how to live the NOW moment. They keep going with the masses, with the media, with the brainwashing, with the trends, with what's "out there". And forgetting what is "in here"... inside themselves. The Essence. The real purpose and meaning of things.

I am out of this craze!  I am not buying or decorating for Halloween until the first or the second week of October. The mood is not set yet! And Christmas, only in December!  Never before Thanksgiving!

For everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven!

Happy Midsummer!

P.S. About my small watering can?  It took me a while, but  eventually I found what I wanted at Dollar General! Kudos to DG!
